This specimen was lot 20267 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 350 Dollars, 2002. PCGS PROOF-69 DEEP CAMEO Secure Holder. Struck to commemorate the Wild Rose. Includes certificate of authenticity serial #0862 (out of 2,001). 1.2232 oz AGW." The profits extracted from the manufacture and sale of NCLT's caused the Royal Canadian Mint to scramble for ever more arcane topics, including this series of 2001-11 honoring Canadian flowers.
