This specimen was lot 43086 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $408. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "NETHERLANDS. [[Netherlands, Zeeland|Zeeland]]. 1/2 Ducaton, 1792. NGC AU-53." The province of Zeeland first struck this denomination in 1660. This subtype was struck 1766-75, 1785, 1790-93. This type is much scarcer than the accompanying ducaton ([[Zeeland 1771 ducaton Dav-1836|Dav-1836]]). A 1792/81 overdate is reported.

The province of Zeeland first struck this denomination in 1660. This subtype was struck 1766-75, 1785, 1790-93. This type is much scarcer than the accompanying ducaton (Dav-1836). A 1792/81 overdate is reported.
