This specimen was lot 673 in Jean Elsen list 269 (Brussels, July-August 2014), where it was offered for €450 (about US$612). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume des Pays-Bas, Guillaume Ier (1815-1830), AR 1/2 gulden, 1830 B, Bruxelles. Rare. Légères traces d'ajustage. Très Beau à Superbe (kingdom of the Low Countries, William I (1815-30), silver half gulden of 1830, Brussels mint. Rare, light adjustment marks, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type was struck in Utrecht 1818-22 and Brussels 1829-30. All dates are rare. After Belgium obtained her independence in 1830, the mint continued striking for the new country and is still in operation.

Specification: 5.383 g, .893 fine silver, .154 troy oz ASW, 24 mm diameter.
