Kansu (Gansu) Province is an elongate territory that straddles north-central China, at the west end of the Great Wall. Two mints issued coins in the province.

The specimen shown was lot 60250 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $143. The catalog description[1] noted, “CHINA. Kansu. 20 Cash, ND (ca. 1920). 民國甘肅造銅幣二十文。. VERY FINE. Ex: The Frank Robinson Collection.”
