This specimen was lot 45756 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Cob Real, 1680-P V. Potosi Mint. Charles II. PCGS VF-20." This type, struck 1667-1701, is probably the most common one real cob. It is the only one that can be collected by date. Assayer de Villar stamped coins 1679-97; issues after 1684 used a "VR" monogram.
