The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "NORWAY: Frederik VI, 1808-1839, AE 4 skilling, 1809. rosettes flanking 4 and below date, VF to EF." This is a one year type of a denomination emitted only occasionally. It is the last issued by the Danish king. A billon four skilling was also issued in 1809 ([[Norway 1809-IGP 4 skilling|KM 276]]) but it is much more available.
