This specimen was lot 3227 in Sincona sale 91 (Zurich, May 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 1 Sol 1554, Genf. Münzzeichen B. Sehr selten. Schön-sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, one sol of 1554, Geneva mint. mintmark "B". Very rare, Fine-very fine.)"
This type was struck 1536-40, 1550-76, 1580-97, and many dates have mintmaster's initials. The 1554 comes with initials B or G.
