This specimen was lot 2874 in Sincona sale 87 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 575 CHF (about US$774 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

This type was struck in Lisbon 1867-89 and is one of the more common of Portuguese gold coins. Gold 2,000 and 10,000 réis bearing this portrait also exist along with a series of silver issues.
