Sincona sale 84, lot 228

This specimen was lot 228 in Sincona sale 84 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$162 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 10 Kopecks 1813, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PS. Extremely fine. Small die flaws."

This type was struck 1810-26 and is fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 1,010,000.

Specification: 2.07 g, 0.868 fine silver, this specimen 2.07 g.
