Sincona sale 91, lot 3676

This specimen was lot 3676 in Sincona sale 91 (Zurich, May 2024), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,964 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Dukat 1730, Zürich. Selten. Fast FDC. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, ducat of 1730, Zürich mint. Rare, About uncirculated, Magnificent condition.)"

This type was struck 1718-67.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 3.46 g.
