Sincona sale 86, lot 1808

This specimen was lot 1808 in Sincona sale 86 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 52,500 CHF (about US$70,697 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Elizabeth II. 1952-2022. Proof 1000 Pounds 2013, Royal Mint Llantrisant. 1 kg gold. Celebrating the Diamond Jubilee (60th anniversary of the coronation) of Queen Elizabeth II. Only 13 pieces struck. NGC PF70 ULTRA CAMEO. Finest certified by NGC."

Specification: 1000 g, 0.999 fine gold, 100 mm diameter.
