This specimen was lot 7007 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Peso, 1902-CnJQ. NGC MS-62. Small planchet flaw on obverse. Sharply struck, nice attractive smokey gray tone with hues of red." This date is known from Culiacan (shown here), Mexico City and Zacatecas.

Recorded mintage: 1,194,000, a somewhat better date.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.903 fine silver, .786 troy oz ASW.
