This specimen was lot 1676 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $1,645. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/2 Daler Plate Money, 1719. Ulrika Eleonora (1719-20). 4 x 4.75 in. (Tingstrom: 127 examples known including both center stamp types and 22 pieces from the Nicobar). Stamps boldly applied giving a full center stamp and four full legible dates. Some scattered contact marks and a few inconsequential scratches on reverse. Attractive medium brown glossy patina. Highly attractive for type. BOLD VERY FINE."
