Sincoa sale 38, lot 1926

This specimen was lot 1926 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 3,600 CHF (about US$4,318 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEDEN, Ulrike Eleonore, 1719-1720 Dukat 1719. Stockholm. Selten. Sehr schön. (kingdom of Sweden, Ulrika Eleonora, 1719-20, ducat of 1719. Rare. Very fine.)"

This rare type is noted for 1719-20. Ulrika abdicated in 1720 in favor of her husband, who became king Frederick I.

Recorded mintage: 6,814.
