This specimen was lot 1220 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SAXONY: Frederick Augustus II, 1836-1854, AR 1/12 groschen, 1851, struck in Dresden, mintmaster F, PCGS graded MS64, ex Don Erickson Collection." This half neu-groschen or 5 pfennige was struck 1841-44, 1848-56. It accompanied a 2 neu-groschen.
Recorded mintage: 506,000.
Specification: 1.06 g, .229 fine silver.
