This specimen was lot 1525 in Goldberg Sale 137 (Los Angeles, January 2024), where it sold for $570. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Norway]]. 16 Skilling, 1655. Frederik III, 1648 - 1670. Pop 1; the only example graded at PCGS. PCGS graded VF-35." This type was struck 1648-61 and is comparatively common for an issue of seventeenth century Norway. Altho it was worth one mark (1/8 specie daler), we are calling it a 16 skilling as that is what is marked on the coin.
