Sincona sale 4, lot 5624

This specimen was lot 5624 in Sincona sale 4 (Zürich, October 2011), where it sold for 1,350 CHF (about US$1,796 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Solothurn Franken 1811. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. Fast FDC.. (Switzerland, canton of Solothurn, one franc of 1811 [sic]. Beautifully preserved, choice uncirculated.)"
