This silver fifty centavos was struck in Philadelphia for Colombia in 1902 only during the civil war of 1899-1903. (The chaos of that civil war enabled the United States to engineer Panamanian independence.) It is scarcer than the catalog indicates.

Recorded mintage: 960,000.

Specification: 12.5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .335 troy oz ASW.

Catalog reference: KM 192.
