This specimen was part of lot 31967 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), which sold for $493.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic Lot of 25 Minors, Denominations, dates, and grades vary. Close inspection is a must." This token was issued by a rebel commander in the province of Santander during one of Colombia's incessant internal conflicts. It is accompanied by brass ten and twenty centavos.
