This specimen was lot 44 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 12,000 CHF (about US$18,288 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BELGIEN Brabant, Herzogtum, Philipp IV. von Spanien, 1621-1665. Dukaton 1648, Brüssel. Dickabschlag von den 1/2 Dukaton Stempeln / Piedfort de poids double de 1/2 ducaton. Von grösster Seltenheit. Für diesen Typ vorzügliches Exemplar. Alte Patina. Exemplar der Auktion Noonans 257, London, Juli 2022, Los 818. (duchy of Brabant, Philip IV of Spain, 1621-65, ducaton of 1648, Brussels mint, struck on half ducaton dies. Of the highest rarity, For this type extremely fine specimen, Old patina.)"
