This specimen was lot 47139 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Nuremberg. 2-1/2 Kreuzer, 1764-R. PCGS MS-65." This type was struck 1760 and 1763-64 and is not rare. One convention thaler was 48 of these coins.

Specification: 0.9 g, billon, 18 mm diameter.
