This specimen was lot 1482 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,359 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Matthias, 1608-1612-1619. Reichstaler 1617, Prag. Münzmeister Benedikt Huebmer. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Sehr attraktives Exemplar, min. Schrötlingsfehler, vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Matthias I, 1612-19, thaler of 1617, Prague mint, mint master Benedikt Huebmer. Rare in this grade, very attractive, minimal planchet cracks, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1613-19 and is listed in the SCWC under Bohemia. It is not rare but it is scarcer than the later Dav-3136.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
