This specimen was lot 11026 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €720 (about US$751). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1651. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC AU-55. Much luster, especially on the obverse From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1649-62 and is scarce. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 11.14 g, 0.672 fine silver, 33.4 mm diameter, this specimen 11.04 g.
