This specimen was lot 32235 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $7,050. The catalog description[1] noted, "George II gold 2 Guineas 1739 MS61 NGC, intermediate bust type. A few annealing marks, but as those are pre-striking issues they cannot be counted as serious negatives against this coin, and rather, are more of just an issue of personal taste. Some scattered hairlines are noted, primarily on the obverse, but they are barely noticeable unless one uses magnification. Overall a few attractive example of this type, and especially desirable being in Mint State condition." The two guinea denomination was struck intermittently during the first half of the eighteenth century. This type, struck 1739-40, tho not cheap, is probably the most common. A young head type (KM 576) exists for 1739 as well.
