This specimen is one of a type issued 1992-2009 as part of the reform of the Mexican peso. It was replaced by a reduced weight version (KM 934) for 2009-19. When it was introduced, one dollar was about three pesos; today (September 2025), US$1 = 18.4 pesos.

Recorded mintage: 234,360,000.

Specification: 3.04 g, aluminum bronze, 19.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
