This specimen was lot 74485 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Silver 8 Dollars (5 Ounces), 2015-P. Perth Mint. Lunar Series, Year of the Goat. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. KM-Unlisted. An attractive and flawless example of this lunar series issue. Certified by NGC as a 'One of First 275 Struck'. Sold with the original box and certificate of authenticity." Another one of the innumerable NCLT's pouring out of the Perth mint. This one was features the Year of the Goat.
Recorded mintage: 16,920 + 1,794 colored + 509 proofs.
Specification: 155.5 g, 0.999 fine silver, 60.6 mm diameter, reeded edge.
