This specimen was lot 32940 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Saxony. Friedrich August III 3 Mark 1913-E MS67 PCGS, Muldenhutten mint. Light turquoise-shaded peripheries meet fiery amber colors on the reverse in a truly dazzling array of colors that seem to dance across the fields on the commemorative for the centennial of the Battle of Leipzig." The Austrians, Prussians and Russians defeated Napoleon at the three day battle of Leipzig and broke his hold on Germany. A year later, Napoleon abdicated and fled to Elba. This commemorative has a very low catalog value.
