This specimen was lot 2398 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Taler 1586. Goslar Lichttaler. Sehr schön. (very fine.)" This "light" thaler (referring to the lamp in the wild man's hand and not the weight) is noted for 1583-88. It is fairly common for a sixteenth century thaler.
