This type was struck for Norway by the Swedish authorities 1876-77, 1884, 1889-99 and 1902. It is common in circulated condition, as depicted here, but scarce choice. Similar coins circulated in Denmark and Sweden.

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000, a slightly better date.

Specification: 4 g, bronze, 21 mm diameter.
