This specimen was lot 1546 in Jean Elsen sale 134 (Brussels, September 2017), where it sold for €365 (about US$515 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"AUTRICHE, République (1918-), AV 1000 schilling, 1976. Millénaire de l'Autriche. Fleur de Coin. (republic of Austria, gold thousand schilling of 1976, for the millennium of Austria. Uncirculated.)"

This commemorative was the first issue of this denomination, which has been used since for various gold commemoratives of various weight standards. The appearance of the Babenbergs marks Austria's emergence into history out of the Dark Ages.
