This specimen was lot 2619 in Goldberg sale 59 (Beverly Hills, June 2010), where it sold for $1,236.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria. 2000 Schilling, 1989. Weight 0.9999 ounce. Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Brilliant Uncirculated." This coin is actually a bullion piece marketed to compete until 2001, then converted to a 100 euro coin.

Recorded mintage: 484,000.
