This specimen was lot 72524 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 200 Schilling, 1999. Vienna Mint. NGC MS-65. A handsome Gem, this 1/10th Ounce Gold issue offers full details and a beautiful sheen throughout." Austria entered the bullion coin market in 1989 when it introduced the one ounce 2000 schilling featuring the Vienna Philharmonic. The 200 schilling, weighng one tenth ounce, was added in 1991 and has been struck steadily since altho it is now a ten euro coin.
