This specimen was lot 2295 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $411.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria. 500 Schilling, 1999. Johann Strauss and son. Republic. Finest graded of this one year type. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo." This denomination was used exclusively for commemoratives; KM 3058 and KM 3060 also exist for 1999.

Recorded mintage: 50,000 proofs.

Specification: 8.04 g, .995 fine gold, 0.2572 ounce AGW, 22 mm diameter.
