This specimen was lot 1269 in Jean Elsen sale 146 (Brussels, November 2020), where it sold for €340 (about US$496 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"AUTRICHE, République (1918-), AV 500 Schilling, 1991. Mozart - Don Giovanni. Flan poli. (republic of Austria, gold 500 schilling of 1991, Mozart's Don Giovanni. Proof.)"

This denomination was used exclusively for gold and silver commemoratives. Later issues struck to this module include KM 3006 (Vienna Philharmonic, 1992), KM 3012 (Hapsburgs, 1993), KM 3015 (kaiser Franz, 1994), KM 3032 (Heinrich Jasomirgott, 1996), KM 3040 (Schubert, 1997), KM 3047 (Vienna Boy's Choir, 1998), KM 3055 (Strauss, father and son, 1999) and KM 3065 (bimillennium of Jesus Christ, 2000).
