This type, listed for 1922-44, superseded a similar type (KM 148) struck 1910-17 with a different hairstyle for the queen. Silver gulden were struck in the Netherlands until 1940 and for the government-in-exile at the Philadelphia mint 1944-45. Postwar issues were reduced weight. This date is common in all grades.
Recorded mintage: 14,200,000.
Specification: 10 g, 0.720 fine silver, 28 mm diameter, lettered edge.
Catalog reference: KM 161.1, Sch-828.
