This type, struck 1926, 1928 and 1939-41, features the "mature bust" of queen Wilhelmina. This bust was used on all the silver and gold denominations from the ten cents to the ten gulden. The Netherlands managed to stay neutral in World War One but was not so lucky in World War Two.

Recorded mintage: 4,000,000 (a common date).

Specification: 3.57 g, 0.640 fine silver, 19 mm diameter, reeded edge.
