This specimen was lot 3313 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €700 (about US$904 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SOLOTHURN Stadt. 1/4 Duplone 1789. In US-Plastikholder der NGC mit der Bewertung MS 64. GOLD. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Prachtexemplar. Feine Goldpatina, fast Stempelglanz. (canton of Solothurn, quarter duplone of 1789. In NGC MS64 holder, rare in this grade, proof example, fine gold color, choice uncirculated.)"
