Crowned shield of Castile. Reverse: Crowned shield of Leon. NGC graded AU-58 Brown." This [[Spain|Spanish]] type was milled at the Segovia mint 1601-20. It has a low catalog value. The SCWC also lists hammered eight maravedis from the same mint (KM 15.5). Thirty four maravedis made a real.
