This specimen was lot 73600 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 6 Mariengroschen, 1712-HH. Zellerfeld Mint; mm: crossed axes between HH. Georg I Ludwig (future George I of Great Britain). PCGS AU-58. This coin displays champagne-infused gray surfaces with sparkles of gold, russet, and cobalt toning in protected areas. The body of the Wild Man is rendered somewhat softly, but with good facial features. Overall a good strike, the merest hint of wear, and nice surfaces - attractive. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1712-15, all with mintmaster HH. There is also KM 63, struck 1711-13 with St. Andrew on the reverse.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: silver.
