Künker sale 335, lot 3643

This specimen was lot 3643 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €220 (about US$288 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BAYERN, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH: Ludwig I. 1825-1848. Ku.-Heller 1829. Fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Louis I, 1825-48, copper heller of 1829. about uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1806-29 and is common. There is a scarce reeded edge variety (KM 740).
