Bavaria 1829 heller KM-679
The first specimen was lot 3643 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €220 (about US$288 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH: Ludwig I. 1825-1848. Ku.-Heller 1829. Fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Louis I, 1825-48, copper heller of 1829. about uncirculated.)"
The second specimen was lot 2817 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[2] noted, "BAVARIA: Maximilian I Joseph, 1805-1825, AE heller, 1829, a fantastic example, PCGS graded MS66 RD." This type was struck 1806-29 and is common. There is a scarce reeded edge variety (KM 740) struck for Max's successor, Ludwig. One convention thaler was 1,152 heller.
