This specimen was lot 5030 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,551 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, August der Jüngere, 1635-1666. Reichstaler 1640, Zellerfeld. Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit prachtvoller Patina, vorzüglich. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, August the Younger, 1635-66, thaler of 1640, Zellerfeld mint. Very attractive example with superb patina, extremely fine.)"
