This specimen was part of lot 1611 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), which sold for $1,821.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Four Piece Gold Ballerina Proof Set, 1994. 5 pieces in lot. Includes: 10, 25, 50 and 100 Ruble denomination gold proofs. Also includes a gold-plated medal with the Russian double eagle, Moscow mint and the date (1994). With mint issue display case."

Recorded mintage: 2,500.

Specification: 15.55 g, .999 fine gold, .496 troy oz AGW.
