This specimen was lot 6538 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €650 (about US$905 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, SACHSEN, Albert, 1873-1902. 20 Mark 1874. Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Saxony, Albert, 1873-1902, twenty mark of 1874. About extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1874-78 tho only 1874 and 1876 are reasonably obtainable. The Dresden mint was moved to Muldenhutten in 1887. The Muldenhutten mint, after striking coins for the Saxon kings, later minted for the Weimar republic, the Nazis and the Communists before closing in 1953.
Recorded mintage: 153,000.
