This specimen was lot 861 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Taler 1762, Karlsburg für Siebenbürgen. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. Kratzer. (Austria, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, thaler of 1762, Karlsburg mint, for Transylvania. Very rare, Very Fine, Scratches.)"
This type was struck 1751-62 and 1765. Altho listed as only scarce, not rare, this is the first one we have posted.
