Sincona sale 6, lot 2201

This specimen was lot 2201 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$149 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NIEDERLANDE Zeeland Silberdukat 1775. Sehr schön. (Netherlands, province of Zeeland, silver ducat of 1775, very fine.)"

This type was struck throughout the eighteenth century until 1794.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 28.25 g, 0.873 fine silver; this specimen is 27.88 g.
