Sincona sale 69, lot 919

This specimen was lot 919 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 4,750 CHF (about US$6,304 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"THE NETHERLANDS | Zeeland, Provinz. 7 Gulden 1761. 1/2 Goldener Reiter - 1/2 Gouden rijder. NGC MS64. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Netherlands, province of Zeeland, seven gulden of 1761, half gold rider. Magnificent condition.)"

This type was struck in most of the provinces 1760-64.

Recorded mintage: 272,000 for 1760-64.
