Künker Auction 425, lot 2458

This specimen was lot 2458 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,500 (about US$2,124 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN AB 1871 · REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, WÜRTTEMBERG Karl, 1864-1891. 2 Mark 1876. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Prachtexemplar. Fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Württemberg, Charles, 1864-91, two mark of 1876. Scarce in this quality, cabinet example, about uncirculated.)"

This type is expensive in nice condition. It was issued 1876-77, 1880, 1883 and 1888.

Recorded mintage: 245, 000.

Specification: 11.11 g, 0.900 fine silver.
