This specimen was lot 11312 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €85 (about US$89). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/48 Taler, 1665. Wismar Mint. Karl XI. NGC F-15. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." Wismar was ceded to Sweden in 1648 and remained until Swedish control until it was sold to the duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin in 1803. Numista lists this as a schilling but a "48" appears on the orb. This type was struck 1663-69 and 1692-95 and has a low catalog value.
