This specimen was lot 70598 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $95. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Waldeck-Pyrmont. 1/2 Groschen, 1825-FW. Georg Friedrich Heinrich. PCGS MS-63 Brown Gold Shield. A well struck up copper with mint red remaining in the protected areas." Like most coinage of this tiny state, this is a one year type. It was accompanied by a pfennig (KM 138), three pfennige (KM 122) and double mariengroschen (KM 111).
